Why so scared of change?

This morning I’ve been thinking about change and how we are naturally scared of the phenomenon. And I was forced to ask; what is it about change that scares us so much? Why are we scared of the very stuff that makes our being?

I think people are scared of what others might think of them if they appear ‘unstable’.

“Is he bipolar?”

“I think something is the matter with her.”

Naturally we are extra cautious about what other people think of us. But the question is; should we be?

Why do you care what other people think of you? When you care so much about what others think of you you begin to conform, you begin to tailor your life according to the expectations of others. And is that a life worth living?

Dare to tell the world “fuck you!”

Dare to be yourself today. Dare to change. Dare to tell the world “fuck you!” Let them think you’re bipolar, show them your mood swings. Show them that touch of madness that makes you a genius.

Have a changing day!
