I was playing a scenario in my head earlier today of two employees. One comes into the office telling the other one of how a friend of his is now an entrepreneur, and he goes, “Wow, lucky chap! He has broken free at last.”
Elsewhere, the entrepreneur is in his apartment, racking his head for his next move. He seems to have run out of ideas to keep his budding business afloat. He is in peril. There’s darkness allover his mind, and he’s fighting and clawing his way back to the light.
Now tell me, who is the lucky chap in this scenario? The employee that awaits a certain salary, or the entrepreneur in an unsure battle?
Financial freedom sounds sexy, but in reality it is anything but sexy.
